With all the bank holidays and seemingly endless breaks from school, the cinema can get expensive and the imminent tantrum with the hairdryer at the pool can start to wear pretty thin.
With the summer in view, and nature beginning to flourish again for the season, why not take the kids to the Botanic Garden in Cambridge?
This half term, there will be Dragonfly filled fun with field work in the gardens, where they can learn about the lives and how they flourish in the morning, followed by a craft work shop in the afternoon where children can take their green fingers and get creative and take their very own dragonfly home!
The workshop will get their brains in gear and give them something to talk about back at school, ensuring that their 'show and tell' is the best in class!
