Young Cambridge Actors Bring Dickens’ A Christmas Carol to Life in Festive

Young Drama Cambridge, the Saturday drama school by the National Performing
Academy, is thrilled to announce its upcoming production of A Christmas Carol, coming to
Cambridge Junction on Saturday, 30th November.

Featuring talented young actors aged 9 to 15 from across Cambridgeshire, this production brings
Charles Dickens’ timeless holiday classic to life, showcasing the dedication and enthusiasm of the
next generation of performers.

In this adaptation, audiences will follow the transformation of Ebenezer Scrooge, as he journeys from
miserly recluse to a man of generosity and warmth, guided by the spirits of Christmas Past, Present,
and Future. With a focus on compassion, community, and the spirit of Christmas, A Christmas Carol is
a reminder for audiences of all ages of the importance of kindness and connection.

“Our students have poured their hearts into this production,” says Lorenzo Zambrana, Head of
Drama and the show’s director. “They’ve embraced the language and emotion of Dickens’ work, and
it’s inspiring to see them bring such a classic story to life with such energy.”

Perfect for all ages, this festive production of A Christmas Carol promises an evening of laughter,
warmth, and holiday cheer for the entire family. Join us at Cambridge Junction for an unforgettable
start to the festive season!
