Nicola Wilkins is my driving instructor. She is very kind and has endless patience. She is understanding of my mistakes which are now become much less frequent. She is very good with her explanations and at reassuring a nervous driver, such as myself. My confidence has increased immensely and I now really look forward to my lessons in the lovely cream mini rather than being full of trepidation, as I was at the beginning. Elizabeth G

Toad is BRILLIANT!!! Sue is the best instructor ever. I started driving lessons about 5 years previous with another instructor that was, to put it nicely 'not very good'! so when I came to Sue I was so nervous but she kept me calm and got me through my test 1st time (with only 5 minors). Sue is very patient and such a laugh, we had some good laughs in the car! Lessons were great Sue, I will miss them but will keep in touch. I definitely recommend Sue Papworth. Thank you so much. I really loved my lessons with Sue, and will now miss seeing her every week! She was a brilliant driving instructor and with her I passed first time. Even though I would get really nervous when I first started learning she helped to keep me calm and I now feel much more confident and safe driving. I would recommend her to anyone, she’s amazing!

I loved the fact that I could relax. My friends with other driving instructors always talked about how stressful it was. I never got that because you were so friendly and chatty! I also loved that I passed first time but I didn't just get taught to pass the test I got taught how to do every day driving like you do in real life. It means I have adjusted really well to being on my own for the first time :) Emma.

Sue is fantastic!!! I just passed my test on the first try with five minor faults - after three months of instruction. Sue was a rock and a riot all the way through, and she really tailors her teaching to the individual (unlike other driving instructors who will bore you to death and seem to be on autopilot the whole time...). She's a natural teacher, always reliable and cheerful, and gives way more than 100% to each lesson. Plus, the car (a Mini Cooper) is fantastic to drive and easy to learn on. Becky is a star as well - so don't take driving lessons with anyone other than the wonderful women of Toad's!!!
