Sue made it quick and easy to learn with her fun filled lessons. We always seemed to be laughing about one thing or another. She made sure there was always a very relaxed environment during lessons :)
Sue had several sayings that helped me remember what to do and help me learn fast. I soon got the name parrot, becasue i had memorized her sayings. I will always remember to look out for Little Johnny, and your twins 'left shoulder' & right shoulder' ;) to keep me SAFE.
I remember in one of my lessons and you were describing how you looked for 'safety not profection' and i thought you said 'safety not protection' this is just one of the many laugh's we had.
Thank you also for allowing me to have my friends in the car during my lessons, this helped me become aware of what distractions i would have to face once i had passed my test.
i loved roundabouts when i thought i'd got first and really i had got reverse ;) the car behind loved it. I bet not many learners hit rabbits... i couldnt believe it but you were just like 'thats one less well done becka'
When i got to test, i felt confident that i was able to do it, and all thanks to a brilliant teacher i PASSED first time with 1 minor :)

I was very apprehensive about learning to drive before my first lesson, however Sue put me at ease as soon as I got in her amazing Mini! Not only is she an exceptional teacher but she soon became one of my good friends. She makes each and every lesson so much fun and I came away from each of my lessons feeling more and more confident. Her teaching techniques are very effective but at the same time definitely NOT boring! I would recommend Sue Papworth to anyone as she not only helped me to pass my test first time, but also taught me the skills needed to drive safely for life! Thank you so much Sue!

I was so nervous before I started driving I thought I would be a horrendous driver! But having lessons with Toad School with Louise Carter really boosted my confidence the lessons are always so much fun and I always look forward to them every week!! The lessons are based around what you feel comfortable doing which really increases confidence! Louise is very patient, always on time and a calm instructor, which is really needed! I would really recommend Toad School!

I was very nervous at the start of my first lesson and I was instantly calmed by the friendly tone of Nicola. From the outset she was very calming, relaxed and understanding of my inevitable mistakes. I couldn't ask for a better instructor than Nicola, who is teaching me how to drive safely for life, and I have also gained a great friend. I was unreservedly recommend Toad's School and in particular Nicola to any driving student of any age or gender. Thanks Nicola! Tom M

Learning to drive with Toads School of Driving has been great. Sue was always very patient, informative and in general good fun to be with. For this reason I always looked forward to my driving lessons. I think the main thing about the Toads, however, is how well they prepare you for your test in addition driving independently afterwards. I am now looking forward to Pass Plus!

I moved back from London needing to get on the road for work. I had taken lessons before but couldn't get to the point where I felt relaxed behind the wheel. Then I found Nicola at Toad. After the first lesson I knew I had found an excellent driving instructor!!! Nicola has a friendly and professional teaching method which made my confidence and ability grow with each lesson. I looked forward to each lesson in her fantastic Mini Cooper. Her approach and personality made the whole "learning to drive" experience a pleasure to do. She made the driving test a less daunting experience with her cool, calm and collected approach. I would highly recommend Nicola for anyone who wants and instructor with a passion in what they do. I passed my driving test recently thanks to Sue at Toads School of Driving. I am able to drive safely - it was raining on my test ! I had lots of fun in my lessons and looked forward to every one. I will really miss Sue and look forward to Pass Plus. Thank you Hayley
