I was with my previous driving instructor for a year. Even though I was ready to take my test, during the lessons he would still brake for me, and grab the steering wheel unnerving me. Most of my lessons would consist of driving down country roads, so I was very inexperienced with city driving.
My first lesson with Becki, she was relaxed, which helped me to stay calm and focused. We went to the city and as soon as Becki saw I was flustered and making more mistakes than usual, she pulled me into a car park, where I got out of the car to refresh my brain. When I got back in I was focused. She didn’t let me take my practical until I was ready, not just with the skills of driving, but with the confidence too. I still believe Becki is the reason I passed first time.

I cannot get over how much fun driving is, especially when I learnt from such a great teacher ! I got so much experience.. even if I did only have 14 lessons ! It was a great experience and to pass both theory and practical tests first time makes me even more happy that I chose to go with Toad ! I cannot wait to look further into the Pass Plus and spend some more time with the fabulous Sue ! Many thanks Emily

When I started my first lesson for driving car I had no idea about the english road and the rules. And being a international learner driver anyone can imagine the nerves. But, Louies Carter, the best and friendly instructor i would say and recommend to new learners. She always gave proper instruction with calm and smiles in her face which makes lots of difference for a learner driver. I liked the flexibility in schedule. Moreover, I have passed the driving test recently in the very first time. All the Credit goes of my instructor and Toad's Driving school. Once, more i would like to say I enjoyed each and every lesson.

Having had a bad experience with my previous instructor, I was ready to give up on driving until I heard about Toad's School of Driving, and thought I'd give it another try- this was the BEST decision I have ever made!! Not only did I pass my test first time with only 2 minors, Sue has taught me invaluable lessons on how to enjoy and make the most of driving whilst staying safe at the same time. Sue takes into consideration every single aspect of driving and your personality - not just passing your test like larger driving schools.
