Fantastic Location, the service was superb. Very clean bedrooms, and the food was excellent. I have stayed in quite a few hotels throughout the UK but this was the best.

We had a delightful meal at the 1181 Restaurant. The food was excellent and service friendly and welcoming. I had a local rack of Kentish Lamb which was to die for.

We drank in the bar and ate in the restaurant; the food was suberb and reasonably priced. Breakfast was of equally good quality. The staff were polite and helpful. Overall a pleasing experience.

Howfield Manor is so peaceful and a real escape just outside Canterbury set in beautiful grounds, it ouses history, delightful! The 1181 Restaurant is fantastic and the food is super quaility with tasty original menus. Well done.

We booked a table for 10 to celebrate Mum's birthday. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Food was excellent, so obviously prepared from fresh ingredients. Add this to a beautiful and historic setting, and you have a visit to remember. We shall most certainly be back!

We reserved a table in the 1181 Restaurant for dinner to celebrate my birthday and we want to thank you for such an excellent evening! The food was superb and the staff were attentive without being overbearing - just perfect. We had not been to Howfield Manor since its relaunch. We will definitely come back! We will also recommend your hospitality to our friends and business colleagues.
