September sees the return of the Canterbury Eurofair with the Kent Food Festival - and 2010 is hoped to be bigger and better than ever.
Canterbury City Council and Produced In Kent are once more putting on an incredible array of events, stalls and entertainment for this year's Food Festival, taking place from Friday 24th to Sunday 26th September.
Canterbury's Dane John Gardens will play host to the Eurofair, where visitors will be able to sample and purchase food and drink stuffs from around the county, and other treats from all over Europe.
Local retailers and restaurants have been encouraged to take part this year, which thebestof Canterbury obviously loves - more power to local suppliers we say!
Seriously though, it's a great opportunity to showcase what the city of Canterbury has to offer, and the event attracts visitors from all over. If you want more information on how to get involved, or details on who is already participating, check out the Canterbury Eurofair website.
With food producers and suppliers providing such treats as homemade confectionary, preserves, curries, herbs and spices, cider, ale, biscuits... (the list goes on!), live music and competitions, as ever the Eurofair and Kent Food Festival is set to be an exciting weekend for anyone with a love of food and all things local.
