The Canterbury Festival kicks off this Saturday (17th October) and runs until 31st October. The Festival is celebrating 25 years of bringing the best international artists to Kent. Throughout the two week period performers from a diverse and wide spectrum are featured at venues throughout our wonderful City.
The Festival officially begins with the Carnival Parade and this years theme is celebrating flora and fauna. The Parade starts at 5.00pm and wends its way from the Westgate Hall to the Dane John Gardens for its finale, where there will be food and drink, more live music and as the sun sets, a whiz-bang finish.
There is street entertainment in the City centre from 2.00pm so come along early and soak up the atmosphereat this free family event.
