It's one of those things many of us just never get round to. I myself have spent quite a lot of time and effort utterly failing to research and write my will, and this year I've promised myself I really must get it sorted.
It's not like I own much, I've always reasoned. But when your life changes to accommodate children, everything else changes as well - from your financial considerations, to providing for their well being after you die.
This may - and hopefully - not be something anyone needs worry about for years, but you never know. And it's not just the financial aspects of provision I'm talking about - even clarifying who is prepared to look after them will make things a lot clearer to those left sorting out your affairs.
