A public lecture by Dr Aurélie Basha i Novosejt University of Kent

Dr Aurélie Basha i Novosejt is Senior Lecturer in American History at the University of Kent. She specialises in US foreign policy during the Cold War with a particular focus on the Vietnam War. She is the author of I Made Mistakes: Robert McNamara’s Vietnam Policy (Cambridge University Press, 2019).

In tonight’s talk she will use the 50th anniversary of the end of the Vietnam War to reflect upon the continuing historical debate about the war and its enduring effects on the modern world. Univerity and 6th Form students are particularly welcome.
