Cineworld Review - Cinderella

This heartworming live action of Disney's Cinderella will definitely leave you with a warm fuzzy feeling of the 'happily ever afer' every little princess dreams of.

The main theme of 'have courage and be kind' will stick with you as Lily James portrays the iconc character of Cinderella perfectly with her innocence, charm and beauty shining through on screen.

The romantic fantasy had just the right balance of romance without it being over the top, the chemistry beween the charming Prince, performed by Richahard Madden and Lily was as though they were made for each other. A perfectly magical happily ever after.

Cate Blanchett's constume were out of this world and all eyes were drawn to the evil stepmother untill Helena Bonhom Carter 'bibbity boppity boops' Cinderella into the princess we all know she is, and deserves to be, as kindness and courage is awarded. It was refreshing to see HBC transform herself from a 'hair dog-mother' into the elegant fairy god mother, as we are used to seeing her on screen for portraying the villian, Bellarix or Queen of Hearts.

The special effects for the transformaion scene were spot on, the pumpkin carraige, the mice turning into horses and even the goose who 'can't drive because he is a goose' were spectaular, bringing magic to life.

If Branagh and Weiz team up again to re create a Disney classic, I'll be there to watch.
