Meritorious representatives of restaurants that operate in Wales gathered together on Monday November 26 at The Exchange Hotel in Cardiff for a huge celebration of the best restaurants that who provide us with incredible food and service.

The 2018 Restaurant Awards-Welsh Edition showcased the Top 100 Restaurant in that are considered the best in the country, as voted for by the public who think that their favourite restaurant should be included in and value the work and service they provide.

The awards provided the professionals with a platform to highlight the unique qualities that set them apart from the crowd and recognise thosethat fill our bellies with gastronomic delights which tantalise our taste buds, leaving us feeling fantastic.

A Spokesperson for the 2018 Restaurant Awards-Welsh Edition said: “This innovative awards ceremony showcased meritorious restaurants that provide world class services to their customers, reflecting the excellent food experience, ambience, quality and variety of choices that the restaurants in Wales have to offer.

“The industry has faced a lot of challenges the last few years but continues to support the Welsh economy by creating new jobs and leaving people who visit Wales with the best of impressions.  Through the 2018 Restaurant Awards we shown them that their talent and hard work doesn’t go unappreciated.

“We would like to congratulate all restaurants that got shortlisted in the list with the Top 100 Restaurants in Wales for their amazing achievements.”

The awards also provided the opportunity to fundraise for a worthwhile cause and helped raise money for the official charity partner, Make A Wish Foundation UK who grant magical wishes to children and young people, fighting life-threatening conditions.
