I promised to let you know how our networking event went - it was pretty good I think. Certainly those that attended seemed to enjoy it and get alot from it.
At the best of cardiff we are trying to hold an event in Cardiff that is a good mix between allowing businesses to network with each other but is also a short fun evening.
There were a few highlights in the evening - for Alan Hargreaves it was being the lucky winner of the busienss card draw - he won an incredible celebration cake kindly donated by Cafe Barons which I had picked up freshly baked in the morning.
For Tim Arnott of Arnott's Valeting Services it was to proudly achieve his Best Of Award for Best Customer Service from last month.
I thought it was great that some clients who are not serial networkers such as John Newberry of Pegasus Executive Travel attended as it was his first ever networking event!
I hope we haven't scared him from ever attending one again!!!!
Anyway the evening was fun and I am sure many will be trying to recall their langauge skills this morning to see if they can remember how to count to 10 in Japanese! At the Best of Cardiff we certainly try and be a bit different. Now Ichy Knee....
