I have decided to give you an insight into my work for the Best of Cardiff and a general introduction into what I get up from day to day.
Friday
This was an a very different day from my normal Cardiff based working day as I attended a regional meeting with other local bestof site owners and Franchise owner and entreprenerial inspiration Nigel Botterill.
It was a great, informative and exciting meeting as we focussed on new aspects to our business and in particular our new website - a complete re-build site which is only weeks away! But more about that in the future.....
The venue for our meeting was Tortworth Court Four Pillars Hotel in Wotton Under Edge in Gloucestershire- I know I had never heard of it either - it was fab.
It is a Stunning Grade 11 listed building and it was incredibly convenient as it is just off the M5 and the journey took only 45 minutes (and no I wasn't speeding!).
I highly recommend it as it is just a pop away and is set in beautiful grounds with very good facilities, it must be truly stunning in the Summer.
Anyway, for once the meeting finished on time and I had high hopes of popping to the important Wales U21 V England U21 match at Ninian Park which sadly England won 3-2 but my energy levels were such that I could not face the trip across town and trying to park near Leckwith.
Now I feel guilty, if I had made the effort perhaps Wales would have won lets hope that Wales Senior side can do better on Saturday night as it is a 5.30pm kick off at the Millennium Stadium - fingers crossed.
