Paramount Interiors, interior design and furniture specialists, spent 2013 busily fundraising for their chosen charity, Macmillan Cancer Support. The team at Paramount didn’t take the role lightly, with various events and challenges across the year adding to an impressive fundraising total.
Mr Kipling would have been proud of the exceedingly large selection of cakes on offer when they invited guests to join the “World’s Biggest Coffee Morning” event at their ShowOffice in Cardiff. The proceeds from the goodies on offer, as well as a raffle and auction, raised an incredible £2,508 on the day!
Ceri Bowden, a Senior Designer at Paramount, and Shane Kugler, one of their Business Development Managers, ran, jumped, climbed, crawled and staggered through the gruelling Tough Mudder Challenge and successfully completed the 12 mile-long obstacle course to raise some well-earned cash for Macmillan.
Jon Foster, also a Senior Designer, put on his running shoes to finish the Cardiff Half Marathon in a personal best time of 1 hour, 37 minutes and 4 seconds. Adding even more sponsorship money to Paramount’s growing total.
Andrew Roberts, a Business Development Manager at Paramount, raised money by taking part in Macmillan’s ‘Longest Day Golf Challenge,’ which involved four rounds of golf across the Rolls of Monmouth, starting at 4.30am and finishing at 9.30pm!
With other fundraising schemes across the year, including providing tuck shops to local businesses, by the end of 2013 all their hard work had paid off and Paramount raised an incredible total of £4,661 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Nigel Roberts, Managing Director at Paramount Interiors, couldn’t be prouder, “We are delighted to continue our partnership with Macmillan and I would especially like to thank my team for their on-going hard-work, dedication and the creative ways that they have raised funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.”
