I went to Cardiff on Saturday, mainly for Comic Con but I was amazed by the atmosphere in the city centre. Saturday was the first of March, so it was St David's day and there were plenty of people dressed up in Welsh themed clothes. Daffodil hats, lots of red and even a few giant leeks walking around. The sky was bright blue, it felt like it was finally the start of spring in Wales, finally after months of rain.
I then headed over to the Motorpoint Arena ready for Comic Con, I stood the wrong side of the queue but there were staff walking around which were extrememly helpful, advising exactly where to go. (Unlike that of a recent music event I attended at the same venue) The queue moved rapildy once doors were opened, and the excitement grew waiting to enter the venue.
The first thing I saw was the 1966 batmobible which replaced the DeLoren, people were taking photos next to it (even Batman and Bane made an appearacne)
There were tons of Cosplay, Comic and Merchandice, it was an gold mine of memorabila.
I can't wait for the next one.
