Grangetown Nursery School caters for children of ages 3-4 years. The underlying aim of the school is to provide a happy, caring, secure environment in which the youngest members of the community thrive and develop intellectually, emotionally, physically, spiritually, morally and aesthetically.
Grangetown Nursery School aims to develop high levels of emotional, social and physical well-being in all children. The interdependent team of creative educators work closely together to promote this central aim.
They also have a Forest School which is a unque process which provides opportunity for children to develop their self-esteem and confidence.
Forest School relies on three main priciples:
- To take place in a woodland setting
- Have a trained leader
- And a programme of study
