This spring, don’t miss the chance to experience the remarkable talent of acclaimed artist Dr. Geoff Eales at UWC Atlantic College. Accompanied by Cameron Saint on bass and Liz Exell on drums, Geoff will present a captivating 60-minute concert to an exclusive audience.

Born in the heart of the South Wales Valleys, Geoff Eales is celebrated as one of the UK’s most eclectic and inspirational musicians. With a diverse career as a composer, pianist, improviser, musical director, and arranger, Geoff’s music transcends boundaries.

A Cardiff University alumnus with a PhD in composition under Professor Alun Hoddinott, Geoff has created notable works including An American Symphony and a moving setting of Dylan Thomas’ poem In the Beginning. Geoff’s passion for both classical music and jazz has driven an illustrious career, from his time as resident pianist with the BBC Big Band to leading the innovative Electric Eales.

Having performed in iconic venues such as the Royal Albert Hall, New York’s Birdland, and the Blue Note Clubs of Japan, as well as at major festivals worldwide, Geoff’s artistry continues to captivate audiences globally. With 15 critically acclaimed albums to his name, this is your chance to experience his talent up close.
