Spring has officially sprung at Cardiff Bay’s leading entertainment venue.
The Red Dragon Centre is bringing back its successful Market in the Mall on Sunday 30 March to celebrate both Eid al-Fitr and Mother’s Day.
This exciting pop-up event, in collaboration with Green Top Markets, will showcase local vendors and small businesses as well as the Centre’s iconic attractions and restaurants to add special touch to any celebration.
The market will be held between 11am-6pm and will feature stalls with handmade jewellery, ceramics, unique prints, candles, handmade soap products and more.
The market follows the Centre’s previous success in 2024 with a Summer and Halloween market.
However you choose to celebrate, there’s something for everyone, even with free face painting between 12-4pm.
The event promises to be an action-packed day for all the family to enjoy the great indoors this Spring. The Red Dragon Centre’s venues will be open as normal, including the Odeon Cinema hosting south Wales’ only IMAX screen, so families of all ages can make a whole day of celebrations.
The Red Dragon Centre is home to a multitude of interactive, lifestyle and food and drink venues including Odeon Cinema, the home of Wales’ only IMAX screen, and the Hollywood Bowl which have been key Centre attractions since the beginning.
The Centre hosts a range of additional brands that make up an intrinsic part of the entertainment and dining experience, including Grosvenor Casino, Five Guys, Spice Route, Buffet Tonight, Volcano, EasyThali, EveryTime, and Zaika.
The Centre is also the site of the Capital FM South Wales studio, which was formerly Red Dragon FM, as well as Heart FM. Today, you’ll find the likes of Josh and Kally broadcasting their Capital Drive Show live from there every weekday.
