To mark the iconic Star Wars day, Cardiff Bay’s leading entertainment venue will be welcoming fans of the sci-fi franchise to meet their favourite characters from a galaxy far, far away.
UK Garrison and Rebel Legion, renowned across the UK for their character performances, will be bringing the Force to life with incredible costume appearances as some of the franchise’s most beloved characters between 12-5pm.
Joining in on the action will be Vendiboyz, after a string of successful events at the Centre including the Pokéfest in February, who will be setting up shop to offer a range of merchandise, including some unique Star Wars items
The Centre will be fundraising for Make a Smile’s Cardiff branch to support their work in spreading joy and magic to disadvantaged children through character events and visits.
In celebration of its 20th anniversary, the resident ODEON, south Wales’ only IMAX cinema will be screening Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith.
This Bank Holiday weekend adventure will be a force to be reckoned with, creating the magic of the beloved series for fans. The Centre’s longstanding venues including the ODEON cinema, Hollywood Bowl and range of restaurants will all be open as usual to continue the fun.
