Despite the warm front the trees and hedges are definitely showing signs of Autumn. The hedges especially need to be trimmed, clipped and generally tidied up ready for Winter.
Is clipping your hedge something you dread? The pain of aching limbs, the danger of standing precariously on a ladder, but still stretching to reach the top, wielding a dangerous hedge trimmer. Not for the owner of the hedge below, he called in the professionals....... meet
Jason and his team at Goin’ Mowin’ They have been tackling an enormous hedge – a leylandii. This hedge as you can see from the pictures below usually takes the owner 2 weeks and aching limbs to tackle this mammoth hedge but Jason and the team completed it in just one day! Ideal when you consider the inclement weather we have been experiencing!
The guys at Goin’ Mowin’ are truly professional and bring all the right equipment including fuel where necessary to do the job in hand. Never will they be asking to use your tools!
So I asked Jason what they did with the clippings (you will notice they tidy them up). Goin’ Mowin’ clears all the rubbish including the clippings away. The clippings are used for compost. NB. It is important to mix with other compostable material to get the correct balance.
