National Bike Week, from 19th -27th June.
This could be the opportunity for Employers to encourage employees to cycle to work. Although we do not have the transport congestion of the big towns and cities here in West Wales we do have clean air so cycling would be a healthy way to travel to work With the warmer weather this could be the kick start to a fitter you. However it might be wise to pack a change of clothes and a wash bag for a wash and brush up on arrival to work!! Interestingly fitter personal will perform more effectively so the long term benefits for both Employers and employees cannot be underestimated.
Employers would be encouraged to provide safe parking for bicycles and indeed encourage staff to take a green initiative.
