We are really proud to have LBS Builders Merchants as a member of thebestof Carmarthen.
They are the largest independent builder’s merchants in South West Wales, having branches in Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire as well as Swansea, Port Talbot, Ystradgynlais and now they have opened a new branch in Neath taking the total to 12 branches including Civils.
The acquisition of the Neath site represents another major investment for LBS and since acquiring the site from Casey’s the stock levels have been greatly increased and the company is selling DIY materials, timber, and kitchens and bathrooms as well as all other general building materials.
It is worth noting that LBS retained four existing staff members of Casey’s and is also creating 10 new jobs at the site all of which will be filled by people of the Neath Area.
LBS is an award winning business and offers high levels of customer service. In fact LBS Builders Merchants is a pleasure to visit. As a female, I have in the past felt rather intimidated by the atmosphere of traditional builders merchants but the LBS branches are light and airy with helpful friendly staff. So I am sure the existing and new customers in Neath will appreciate the increased stock and improved delivery service.

NB LBS do wish to make clear that Casey’s Roofing is still trading from its other branch in Swansea and the purchase of this Neath site has not affected that existing business in any way.
