The wonder of steam comes to a rally in Carmarthenshire at the end of September when you can see miniature engines, trains and traction engines in a fabulous weekend of nostalgia. It’s the 10th anniversary Autumn Rally organised by the Llanelli and District Model Engineers and it’s held at the wonderful Pembrey Country Park on September 26th and 27th.
Everything for the steam enthusiast
The Autumn Rally organised at the Pembrey Country Park by Llanelli and District Model Engineers will include miniature steam traction engines and lorries, and steam and diesel railway locos that run on 5 and 7.25 inch gauge on two railway tracks.
There will also be motorcycles, cars, commercial vehicles, tractors and stationary engines.
And there will be amusements for the kids, a range of trade stands, craft stalls and demonstrations.
The event is held at the home of the Llanelli and District Model Engineers at the beautiful Pembrey Country Park. With its extensive attractions the park is a great day out for all the family. Normal park admission charges will apply on this special weekend, but there are no additional charges for the rally.
