Dorothy Morris

I am an award winning  professional artist. I have a BA in Fashion and Textiles  and an Art Teachers certificate.  I taught for many years in mainstream education. Later I did a MA in Fine art. I  went on to work part time as a tutor working for a mental  health charity and I opened my own gallery in 1997. I continue to work with vulnerable  people  in the community  from my gallery in Ferryside whilst also creating  my own  art. I have exhibited  widely  throughout  Wales, the UK and abroad.

I am especially  concerned  with social  and environmental  issues  and much of my work and other artists involvement  reflects these issues.

Janis Fry

I studied at Bangor University and Swansea College of Art, was apprenticed to Mick Morgan at his West Wales pottery and then went to Brittany to learn silk painting with French steam fixed dyes. I won 3 Design Council Awards for this work but then edged into painting while running a pottery studio for 30 years. I am a member of the Royal Watercolour Society of Wales and have taught Art most of my life. I have had exhibitions and shows in Paris, Rome, New York, Miami, Reykjavic, Naples, Piccadilly, Bahrain and Wales. My fascination is with light and its effect on juxtaposed colours and with spiritual matters that govern our existence. I undertake portrait commissions.
