Llanelli District Cemetery has expanded over the years and today is a 34 acre site managed by the Llanelli Joint Burial Authority. The cemetery caters for the needs of the residents of Llanelli Town and Rural districts.
The vision: “To provide quality, sustainable and innovative facilities. To be responsive to the needs of the individual”.
The 34 acre cemetery has over 22,000 graves and burials date back to 1850.
A chapel is situated within the cemetery and seats up to 80 people.

October to February (Winter)
Monday-Friday: 8.00am-5.00pm
Saturday & Sunday: 10.00am-5.00pm
March to September (Summer)
Monday-Friday: 8am-6pm
Saturday & Sunday: 10.00am-6.00pm
Pedestrian access only outside these hours.
Office Hours
Monday – Thursday: 8.30am-4.00pm
Fridays: 8.30am-3.30pm
