Best place to see a band in Chelmsford. Friendly staff, great sound system and choice of music. The drinks are the same price here as anywhere else and they have a great selection. This venue is a gem not to be overlooked.

For live original music The Bassment is the place to be. It is great that original music is catered for as a main event rather than increasingly, it seems, cover acts. Long may this continue and grow. Great atmosphere and sound quality.

Good venue, however slightly pricey. Ceiling is very low hence the name but unless your over 6'2" its not a problem!
