Went there for dinner last night (8th March) with my partner. Food was incredible by far the best Italian Cuisine in Chelmsford city centre. Eddie who served us was fantastic and attentive. Pollo di l’unico was delicious, the wine which we chose was Gavi and that complimented the food perfectly. Finished off the meal with a torte di Nona

We had a bottomless brunch at the weekend, and it was absolutely brilliant! Service was incredible, all so friendly and chatty! The food was exceptional, great menu and was so good!
Been to l’unico before and always a brilliant experience, recommend to anyone who’s looking for a great experience with great staff!

For dinner yesterday. There were 4 of us including 2 young teenagers .
The food was excellent. The service was first class . This is a small cosy restaurant .Would definitely dine here again .👍

Wow actual authentic Italian. Hand made and fresh calamari. Amazing food. Montepulciano wine was so good we asked where it came from - they ship to wine direct from Italy.

Lovely atmosphere. Small and cosy establishment with tasty traditional Italian menu - something for everyone. Recommend the mussels - absolutely divine with a glass chilled Sauvignon blanc.

The high standard has never changed - the taste, the appearance, the friendly staff who have time for you.... the chef has a light touch which makes each plate of food a perfect one! - everything we have tasted always has been so good! There's no other restaurant that compares for us!! And this after dining there the past 10 years plus.

My wife and I visited the newly opened L’unico restaurant with my son and his family on Sunday.
L’unico is run by Eddie who we have had the pleasure of knowing for a number of years.
He is determined to make a success of this new enterprise and after our experience on Sunday he deserves to succeed.
Not only was the food and service outstanding, the entire atmosphere he and his team have created made this a very enjoyable dining experience.
We were impressed with their friendly attention to detail without being overpowering and desire to ensure everything was perfect.
The kitchen staff also deserve praise for the beautifully cooked and presented dishes, and the flexibility shown to ensure our grandchildren were as well catered for as the adults.
We look forward to returning very soon.
