The ODEON is an iconic name in the UK it comes from ancient Greece where ODEON was the name given to a building built for singing and music. The cinema chain has been around since the 1930's and is now one of the largest in Europe.
The original Chelmsford ODEON was on Baddow Road and anyone who went there would be sure to remember jade green seats and silver curtains! The present building is on Kings Walk Chelmsford near to The Meadows Shopping Centre. There is ample parking opposite. Inside the cinema you'll find 8 screens a Costa Coffee, Ben and Jerry's and other retail counters. There's also 3 ATM's.
