The Chelmsford Comedy Club has a new home after the closure of the Waterfront.
The new venue is at Dukes nightclub and is open for the first time on Thursday 23rd June.
What’s more, there will be three top named comedians there to launch the Comedy Club shows.
The host comedian will be Joe Rowntree, followed by regular Mike Gunn, with another familiar Chelmsford face Rudi Lickwood as the headline act.
The Comedy Club said: “Live comedy in Chelmsford Dukes isn't only bigger, but a whole lot better too: take pleasure in the excellent and courteous waitress service to you table throughout the shows and experience each show with superb clarity from the sound system, live TV screen feeds of the comedians and brilliant stage lighting, you'll be enjoying the best jokes and laughs in spectacular style.”
Throughout the summer the shows will be on a monthly basis, the next being July 21, but come September, shows will take place on a twice monthly basis.
