Mind blowing success is being enjoyed by local lad Matt Cardle!
Following his recent X-Factor win, local Essex boy, Matt Cardle has gone on to claim Christmas number one.
Matt was a firm favourite throughout the X-Factor competition, receiving huge levels of support from the public. His debut single When We Collide sold 439,000 copies in just six days, taking it to this year's Christmas number one.
The last few years have seen campaigns to contend for Christmas number one spot following the X-Factor domination; however Matt's single far outsold all his competition this year!
Matt has described his success as mind blowing and with so much public support, he looks set to enjoy further chart hits.
