Hordes of music lovers will descend on Chelmsford from across the UK this weekend as the V Festival kicks off at Hylands Park.
Taking place over Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd August, the festival will see unforgettable performances from some of the world's best bands from the noughties and decades gone by, such as Kings of Leon, Kasabian, The Prodigy, Florence and the Machine, Paul Weller and The Pet Shop Boys amongst many, many others.
However, with heavy rain forecast for Friday, festival goers are being urged to bring waterproofs and a decent pair of wellies just in case it continues over the weekend.
Campers are also being advised to bring warm clothes to wear during the potentially cold nights and check their tents for bad weather use in advance.
Click through to the V Festival website for the full details on what to bring (as well as what you’re not allowed to bring!), plus the full line up of artists and bands appearing at Hylands Park over the weekend.
