Local students are showcasing their garden design at the Ideal Home Show.
Students from Writtle College near Chelmsford have designed their garden as part of a national competition.
Eight colleges have been invited to take part in the competition, displaying sustainable organic gardens for the chance to win the title of 'Young Gardeners of the Year'.
Writtle College lecturer, Ben Wincott said "This is a fantastic opportunity for the students and their future careers."
The garden designed by the team of Writtle College students offers a twist on recycling, using empty ink cartridge packaging and an outdoor sink dispersing water into the garden. The design also includes a pizza oven and giant bean bags.
The students' display can be seen at the Ideal Home Show held at Earls Court in London from Friday 11th until Sunday 27th March.
