One of the nation’s favourite music festivals has proven to be a big hit for another year as the party came to Chelmsford this weekend.
Bajan superstar, Rhianna, pop group the Saturdays, Arctic Monkeys and Plan B were just some of the festival’s highlights, who entertained over the course of the weekend at V Festival on Saturday and Sunday.
Hundreds of thousands of music fans descended on Hylands Park, Chelmsford, for the festival.
Other highlights from the weekend included the Kaiser Chiefs, Jessie J and Tinie Tempah and on the 4 Music Stage the headliner was Dizzee Rascal. Rapper Eminem headlined the main stage on Sunday.
Essex Police has advised motorists that Three Mile Hill in Chelmsford, next to Hylands Park, was closed as people left the V Festival.
