Everyone who's moved home knows it's pretty stressful it always will be, the worlds finest conveyancer can't prevent it. What the best conveyancers do is reduce the stress.

When it comes to deciding who to use you have a choice between Solicitors or Licensed Conveyancers, they're both regulated and must be insured against negligence. Either one is a safe bet.

Many peoples first consideration is cost but often this can be misleading a cheap service may mean no service. If you know someone who has recently moved they may be able to reccomend who they used, estate agents, mortgage brokers and other professionals are also a source of referral.

One of the main criticisms conveyancers receive is lack of communication. When you are worried about losing your dream home, your buyer is pulling out or wanting to reduce the price, you need someone to speak to. These and many other problems happen during a transaction and leaving meesage after message without a response pushes the stress meter to its limit.

It's also nice if when you are speaking with your conveyancer they can explain the process in simple language, plain words preferably short and free of legal jargon. That's why it's a good idea to speak to the person you're considering instructing before you do. You can tell a lot from how you're spoken to.
