From the minute we chose Plenty of Thyme to cater for our wedding, Jodie, Dave and the team have gone above and beyond to make our day as special as possible.
It’s been 3 weeks since our wedding and guests are still talking about how good the food was!
We had a selection of canapés, 3 course wedding breakfast and then pizza and gyros in the evening. The next day, they then came back to do a BBQ for our close family and friends.
PoT were so accommodating, fulfilling our every request, the quality and taste of the food was amazing and there was so much of it, none of our guests went hungry!
Every member of the PoT team worked hard serving the food, managing our bar and helping take care of the little touches (lighting candles etc) but special shout-out to Jodie who has been incredible - a large part of the success of our day is down to her superhuman efforts, she was so helpful (and patient) in the build-up to the wedding and was a force of nature on the day, ensuring everything ran like clockwork!
I can’t recommend Plenty of Thyme highly enough and won’t hesitate to use them again the next time we need some catering, thank you all for making our wedding weekend so special!

My partner and I attended for dinner. Customer service was really good, we were seated quickly and had the process of ordering explained to use really well. Drinks came out within good time and the wings were top! We were even given complementary wings. My partner & I want to return for the unlimted wings next time! Thanks again!

First time ordering from here, got a take away and ordered the buffalo wings, honey and chilli and the jalapeno burger + buffalo fries, everything was delicious and delivery was fast, they forgot the blue cheese sauce and I'm giving 5*s because I called and the lady on the phone was great she sent out two sauces and another portion of wings to say sorry. Now that is what I call top customer service.

i photographed a post wedding party here, April 2014, and stayed in the Hotel overnight.
it's actually a nice hotel, located in Chelmsford high street with rear parking , normally a nightmare in Chelmsford, Hotel was clean and staff very friendly.

Me and my partner went to see the venue to book it for our wedding, we were really excited. The ball room was perfect for our little(ish) wedding that we wanted, we were lucky enough to have the option to book the room a few days after we had seen it. When it came to booking the Venue both me and my partner tried to call them numerous times, when we finally got through it was a different person every time who didnt know what they were doing. They said that we needed to talk to the manager. But she had left for home. We werent the least bit happy. When we finally got in touch with someone who knew what they were doing. There was an error due to a wrong digit being taken on the card we explained that we would call the bank to sort it and call her back within 5 minutes and when we did call her back she was no where to be found

pub/hotel was brilliant.Bang smack in centre of town,good bar facilities with great friendly staff .Would stay there again and will especially as the price is very good.Stayed at Saracens pub again for party up the road.Staff are all friendly and really nice people,have booked again for New Years Eve.
