Really enjoyed the gin tasting experience at Essex Spirits Co in Chelmsford! 🍸
It was thoroughly enjoyable from start to finish. Zane, the owner, was great and James was so attentive and made the whole experience really enjoyable. We learnt about the process of making gin, which was really interesting.
It was great being able to taste lots of different gins, vodkas, rums and liqueurs and learn about the different flavours. It was also really good value for money.
Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for something fun to do and you like gin! It’s great to support local businesses and especially Zanes values.

The atmosphere is magical, with soft Italian music creating a wonderful mood. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious, and the wine was fantastic.
A special thank you to our waiter, Leon! The service was exceptional - Leon was attentive, caring, and truly made our evening.
To top it all off, we were treated to traditional limoncello and biscuits at the end of our meal. We are absolutely delighted and will definitely be back!

We’ve recently viewed a property with Piers and we’ve seen a few in our time! Estate agents can sometimes come across as pushy or like they’re fibbing about things. Piers has been the best estate agent I’ve ever had show me around a property. He was just himself, very personable, honest when he needed to check something to confirm the answer to questions and respected the quiet time to view the house and take it all in. Just a really lovely young man who is an asset to the agency, and I understand he hasn’t been there for very long either, We’re not sure if we’ll have an offer accepted on the property we viewed but if we were looking again, I would be more inclined to view with Balgores simply because they have Piers.

We cannot thank Devoted events enough for the brilliant magic mirror photo booth which we hired for our wedding reception at Downham Hall in July this year. We wasn’t sure if we were being a little extravagant adding this on as entertainment on top of some other entertainment items we had already ordered but it was a real hit and guests of all ages got involved in using the vast array of props provided.
