In order to raise sufficient money for the event to go ahead, the Fiesta relies on its pitch fees, sponsorship and funding. Therefore the Fiesta Organisers (Cheltenham Borough Council, Hesters Way Partnership, and Cheltenham West End Partnership) are searching for any organisation who would be interested in sponsoring the event. Sponsorship packages start from as little as £100.
The Midsummer Fiesta has a healthy ethos which celebrates the varied talents and cultures from the local area, finding the best entertainers, sports clubs and thriving small businesses within Cheltenham.
The 2013 Midsummer Fiesta drew crowds of 8,000+ people. Visitors were entertained by dance groups, local bands, as well as sporting events laid on by Cheltenham Town Football Club and Gloucester Rugby. There was also a variety of children’s activities and a lively market place.
