This cycling event is a great opportunity for local disabled young people to take part in a disability-adapted cycling event which is taking place on Saturday 23rd March at the Prince of Wales Stadium. This taster event has been arranged for youngster to come along with families, friends and/or carers to experience cycle riding on a track as seen at London’s 2012 Games.

This Adapted Cycling Event is a free event supported by the Sports Development Team. Local young people will have a fantastic opportunity to use a range of different bikes and to test them out on the athletics track.

Tom Sparks, Sports Development Officer for Cheltenham Borough Council, said: "We are delighted to work with Active Gloucestershire to support this exciting event. Quest 88 specialise in disability sports equipment and will be coming along to offer their bikes for anyone wanting to have a go. We are really pleased to be involved and able to offer this kind of event and thanks to Rowland and Quest 88 we are able to do so. It's an ideal opportunity for wheelchair users to discover what is available to them."
