One of Gloucestershire’s leading domiciliary care providers, Live Well at Home has opened the first One Stop Care Shop in the County. The first of its kind, the shop provides useful living accessories in a modern environment alongside home living accessories, wheelchair rentals, care assessments and care packages as well as preventative support and advice.
‘We could see there was a gap in the market,” said Live Well at Home Director, Jill Sanders. “No other shop of this type can provide the care advice and support that we can. It’s a holistic approach to care that supports people right from the start. With innovative telecare solutions to more intensive care packages with all the equipment needed to help people live well in their own homes for as long as they want.”
The shop opened on Monday at 77 High Street, Cheltenham and stocks a wide range of accessories from scooters, walking sticks and bath lifts to community alarms, sumptuous throws, handbags and scarfs.
Care Clinics and informative talks and demonstrations will also be held at the One Stop Care Shop in the coming months. Anyone wanting more information on items stocked or care services available should call 0845 026 7944.
