Rendcomb College Nursery and Otters’ department performed their Christmas musical ‘Babushka’, a lovely traditional story following a Russian lady ‘Babushka’ and her journey to Bethlehem. The show was great fun to produce and the children all sang beautifully. ‘Babushka’ and the narrators worked very hard to learn all of their lines.
Reception teacher, Mrs K. Hockey said “The Angel Gabriel and Mary both sang wonderful solos and the Kings and camels provided great entertainment with their humorous songs and ‘impressive leg muscles’!! We also enjoyed watching the Russian dancers, stable animals, the star and of course, Mary and Joseph. Well done to all of the children for a fantastic show, it certainly captured the spirit of Christmas.”
