Chepstow Community Hospital is a new hospital which opened in 2000 having been developed under the Government's Private Finance Initiative.
Services at this 84 bedded hospital consists of primary, community and secondary care delivered from one location and as such is a new approach to the provision of care. As well as hospital services the building also houses two GP practices (Mount Pleasant and Town Gate Surgeries).
It is also the base for the District Nurses and Health Visitors that serve the Chepstow area.
