CHESTER law firm Aaron & Partners is teaming up with inward investment and tourism agency Marketing Cheshire to deliver a series of licensing law seminars.
The free breakfast seminars are aimed at owners, directors and general managers of hotels, bars, restaurants and other entertainment venues.
Delivered by Aaron & Partners’ licensing expert, Barry Holland, the seminars will provide delegates with a concise overview of current licensing law.
There will be advice on obtaining variations and improvements to licences, temporary licences and objections to licensing applications.
Mr Holland has more than 30 years’ experience in licensing law, acting for national companies as well as individual operators in the liquor and betting industries.
His work ranges from assisting a national supermarket chain in formalising its due diligence policy, to helping a major betting client with the only online game set up with Camelot on the National Lottery terminals.
Mr Holland said: “These seminars will provide senior executives working within the hospitality sector with an insight into recent changes in licensing law, and also offer practical advice.
“There will also be a question-and-answer session, during which delegates will have the opportunity to raise any specific queries they may have.”
The seminars will take place at the following times and places:
• Tuesday 8 May (8am – 10am) at the Mere Court Hotel, Knutsford
• Thursday 10 May (8am – 10am) at the Doubletree by Hilton, Chester
• Tuesday 15 May (8am – 10am) at the Park Royal Hotel, Warrington
Aaron & Partners, Cheshire’s largest commercial law firm, is headquartered in Chester and also has an office in Manchester.
Admission to the seminars is free of charge. To reserve your place call Scott Hadden on 01244 405569 or email scott.hadden@aaronandpartners.com.
