More than 100 clients from across Chester, Cheshire, the Wirral and North Wales joined the partners and members of staff of chartered accountants Morris & Co to celebrate the firm's move to state-of-the-art new premises at Cheshire Oaks Business Park.
Senior Partner Edward Greeves welcomed guests to the evening and explained how he and his colleagues had spent a considerable time searching for a suitable base to replace their former office of 25 years in the heart of Chester.
"Then we found Chester House here at the Cheshire Oaks Business Park and we knew immediately that it was the perfect location," added Mr Greeves who said its proximity to Chester and the motorway made it convenient and accessible for visiting clients.
"The new building has meant that for the first time in many years we have been able to house our entire staff under one roof having previously used offices in Chester and Moreton on the Wirral," added Mr Greeves.
Visiting clients were then given guided tours of the modern and spacious two storey building which also boasts a generously sized car park. During the evening guests were able to enjoy a wine tasting hosted by Wrexham-based Angus Smellie, a director of wine suppliers Aston Jones. Mr Smellie entertained wine-lovers with a quiz aimed at identifying a mystery wine.
After the evening Mr Greeves said: "I was delighted at the number of our clients who accepted our invitation to join us and familiarise themselves with our new home. I believe they appreciated the fact that our new, more spacious, premises will enable us to continue to offer a first class chartered accountancy service.
"Although we have moved a little way out of Chester we remain very much a part of the Cheshire/Wirral business scene and our premises are conveniently situated and easy to find."
