At the University of Chester we are only too aware of the potential impact of the economic recession on local organisations and graduate job prospects.
We would like to support your Business by inviting you to participate in our Graduate Placement scheme which has been specifically designed to support innovation and development.
If you have a project that you do not have the time to complete we can support you by providing a graduate with the skills you require.
The University will pay 75% of the students’ wage (£38.85 a day or £194.25 per 35 hour week – pro-rata can apply), your business will benefit from the knowledge, skills and enthusiasm of recently qualified graduates at a cost of just £12.95 a day (or £64.75 per 35 hour week – pro-rata can apply).
This scheme will cost your company £323.75 for 5 weeks (175 hours) and will cost the University of Chester £971.25 for the 5 week Placement.
Graduates will be available for placement within organisations for an initial period of 25 days as soon as the agreement has been completed, (this agreement has a strong possibility of being extended).
You are free to propose projects or tasks which will meet the needs of your business; we will seek to identify graduates with the appropriate skills.
Some of the areas could be:
• Implementing new marketing ideas
• Designing promotional materials
• Organising events
• Innovative ideas
• Developing IT systems
• Reviewing and further developing organisational procedures
This is an opportunity to bring new energy and ideas to your business through Graduates who are matched to your project specifications.
