Having never experinced a Hospice before I was quite nervous about what to expect. I needn't have worried. What a marvellous place. Everyone has a great attitude and are so helpful and supportive. Nothing is too much trouble and best of all everyone gives so much time to ensure they help all the patients and their family and friends to make their experince as positive as possible. I know my dear friend recieved the best care possible in the best place possible. THANK YOU SO MUCH

I will never forget the support and care that my whole family received when my husband was an inpatient there. Our every need was met and even though we knew he wasn't going to survive, our experience was not at all negative.
Since he died I have made Christmas cards to be taken to the Christmas market for sale. I'm told they usually go well. I've had to miss the odd year due to illness but have started again for next Christmas.
This summer I plan to take part in the midnight walk along with friends and family to try and put something back.
I've always believed in angels and think some of them definitely work in hospices.

I love going to all the Hospice events especially the Midnight Walk, there is such a great atmopshere, it's brilliantly organised and there is such a rewarding sense of personal achievement afterwards!

Ashgate Hospice is a fantastic charity that i have supported for many years. They do an amazing job in the local community and i would hate to imagine a world without them. I was suprised to learn how much money they need to raise just to keep open so i would urge everyone to support them in any way they can!

Ashgate Hospice have their own Macmillan Nurses, which we didn't know were funded by the Hospice itself! They were absolutley fantastic with my family, thank you.

What a fantastic job they do! I just love taking part in all the fun events, especially the Woofs and Wellies sponsored dog walk!! The shops have some fantastic bargains and in return for my purchases I know that in a small way I can make a difference to peoples lives.

Ashgate Hospice is a genuinely caring and safe place to be, for patients, their friends and families and the staff and volunteers. Many people do not realise what a wide variety of fabulous things they offer but I would urge you to find out and support them all the way.

Personally I have never had any members of my family needing the services of ashgate hospice but I have friends that have. For the last five years I've supported them and enjoyed raising money. The work they do there is fantastic and bring so much joy to the families and friends of loved ones. I will look forward to raising more money and keeping the good work going.
