To celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Chesterfield Fundraising Group for Cancer Research UK will be hosting a special Jubilee and teddy bears picnic themed Big Lunch.
We are inviting YOU to join us on at Queens Park, Sunday 3rd June between 12 and 3 to enjoy the Big Jubilee Lunch.
Just bring the family, a picnic lunch, picnic blanket and your favourite teddy to join in the fun (why not dress them up in special royalty wear for the occasion?)
There will be competitions and crafts for the kids, including a Crown making contest with prizes to be won. There will be a brass band, face painting, afternoon tea, and craft items will also be available.
This is a FREE event being run by the Chesterfield Fundraising Group for Cancer Research UK although all monies raised will be donated to Cancer Research UK.
A final plea to any local businesses who are able to donate a small prize for the event in order, to aid the fundraising efforts. All donations are greatly appreciated and we shall acknowledge all donations in a follow up post. If you can help then please drop us a quick email here.
