On the back of the success of the current Rugby League World Cup, the North Derbyshire Chargers are in the process of acquiring a franchise from the Rugby Football League (RFL) to provide more touch rugby league sessions across North Derbyshire and the surrounding geographical area.

Building on the success of their last series of sessions, delivered thanks to a grant from the People's Health Trust, the Chargers will be looking to provide training and match opportunities to anyone over the age of 14 looking for a fun way to keep fit and make friends.

More information will be posted shortly along with news of the club establishing a second training/match venue within the East Midlands.
