India (Wasikowska) is trying to come to terms with the death of her father who died in a car accident. The mysterious uncle Charlie (Goode) turns up and seduces India's mother (Kidman).
The music and sounds, enhance the scenes making it a gripping and very tense thriller that's mainly set in a gothic looking mansion.
If you're a fan of Horror you will love this film, it's very Hitchcock-like, that gets you sitting on the edge of Your seat.
Uncle Charlie is a smug sinister character played brilliantly by Goode. The Mother Evelyn a confused shattered distraught character played by Kidman.
