Local support via Women's Aid for Chesterfield and the North Derbyshire region. Every woman and child experiencing domestic violence has different needs – there is no single package of services to meet those needs, no ‘one size fits all’. Instead Refuge offers a range of services which increases women’s choices and gives them access to professional support whatever their situation. Helpline opening times Mon - Fri 10am to 4pm. Refuge, floating support, outreach, drop-in centre and IDVA is available Mon - Fri 9:30am to 5pm on 01246 540464. Derbyshire Social Services is available on 01773 728222. This service is available 24hr on Saturday and Sunday (please note that a male worker may answer your call).
